Will I be given an appointment time straight away?

Every effort will be made to give you a mutually convenient appointment time straight away on your first call. However, the clinic will be happy to entertain your preferred time and hence may call you back to secure that.

How long will my appointment last?

Generally a new consultation visit is around 30 minutes. However, no patient is ever rushed during the consultation.

What will I expect at the new or first consultation?

Patients will receive a comprehensive examination in a spacious, COVID-safe setting. This includes a full history review and necessary x-rays during the same visit. Diagnoses and treatment options will be clearly explained, ensuring patient understanding and comfort. Consultations won't conclude until all concerns are thoroughly addressed.

Can I have my follow up appointment to discuss the results of the scan or tests on the phone?

During the COVID-19 pandemic, any measure to keep footfall low in hospitals is encouraged. Hence, if the patient prefers, a telephone conference call is possible.

Yes we do. We deal with many insurance companies in the UK.

What can I do if I do not have private insurance?

Patients without private insurance can easily book appointments as self-pay patients using the same channels. To minimize costs, bring any previous x-rays or scans for the consultation.

Do I need a GP letter?

Accepted Answer

The clinic does not need a GP letter but some insurance companies might need a GP referral letter in order to validate the claim.

Do I have access to my records from the consultation?

Every patient will be copied into the letter which is written to the GP. (This helps with subsequent phone call dealings with the insurance companies)
